Up to 48 months of training, full tuition + fees + housing allowance + book stipend, plus career counseling and workplace accommodations. Vets eligible for both VR&E and the GI Bill should usually use VR&E first — it pays the same housing rate but covers things GI Bill won’t. The 12-year delimiting date was repealed in 2020.
